   maui is not cheap. my fiance and i were looking there and with tickets and hotels and food and activities, they very minimum was $4000 and it wasn’t anything fancy.

   You can buy my vacation and get a really cheap deal. I have a gift card worth $1,200.00 for http://www.asuiteweek.com and am selling it for $300 or best offer. I really need cash right now so little is better than nothing, hence why I offer it for so cheap. They have resorts, condos, villas….tons of romantic spots.

   Trip prices with them start at $1,599.00 so you could get your friends a week stay in Hawaii for $699. I’d say pretty cheap.

   Just wanted to say. That is sweet you trying to do this for them.

   You can look into pspoptart (I am hopen she is legit. Please no offence pspoptart ). But that would be something to look into to see if that would work for you.

   When my husband and I went to Maui, (Lahaina) back in Decemeber, My mom and was able to book us at the Elderado Resort, round trip ticket for Wed-sunday: 4 nights, 5 day) for total of both of us: 1,400. However, this was booked I believe 4 months in advance.

   We went over there to see if we wanted to get married there. Which we decided Maui was our place. However,due to our families being “mean” to us about it, we eloped in Vegas that Feb. But we still going to Maui this coming Feb for our 1 year anniv renewl and honeymoon (as didn’t get one as he is in Iraq. Left soon after we got married).

   Anyways, this trip cost us $2,400 total (comes to about $1,200 each). This includes Wed through monday at the eldorado, round trip ticket on United and car rental. That DOESN’T include our: food, extra activities and gas. etc. That can be another $1,000 for us in particular, but that isn’t up to you to pay on their part.

   We booked this last month. Looking right now, you are going to be paying even more as the prices are going up the closer you get.

   Both times we booked with Pleasant Holidays with our AAA insurance discount. So, with out that, would of been a little more expensive both times.

   I also recommend with in the next few days, visiting a few airline and travel agencies to see if you can find some good “last minute” deals. I know when I went in there a few days ago, they had a few deals for two, started at $699 for 4 day, 5 night. All depends on where you can visit.

   My brother and his fiance just booked a flight to the Big Island for next month yesterday. Since they are staying with her parents at their home, they are not paying for hotel. But the flight and car rental is still costing them roughly $1,200 for a week.

   All depends on what resort, location in Maui and your budget.

   The longer you wait, the more higher it will become.
