Is it rude for someone to have a wedding shower if the bride & groom are having a small destination wedding?
My fiance & I are getting married this summer in Hawaii. Only immediate family members & a few close friends are invited. I feel that a wedding shower would be inappropriate because many of the people that would attend the shower will not be invited to the wedding. I have a couple of family members that disagree with me. Any suggestions?

Destination Wedding.. Do bride and groom pay for airfare and hotel?
My brother is planning for a destination wedding in Hawaii next year. None of our friends and family are in Hawaii, everybody will have to travel. Are they supposed to provide airfare and hotels for people (both family & guests) that is going to attend? This will be our first destination wedding in our family, not sure how it works.
