Which Hawaiian island Maui vs. Kauai…?

I always thought that Maui must be the loveliest based on what I've seen, I've never actually been though.
We'd go with a few relatives and I know they want to see and do a lot...so is it easy to travel among the islands if necessary? Which island would offer the most to see and do?
We are going in late May when the weather is prime and prices good.

Aloha! We are planning a honeymoon in Sept '08 in Hawaii. We have narrowed or choices to either Maui or Kauai. We are looking to spend about $150 a night, or less. We want to be right on the beach, in a condo or villa, with a pool. Does anyone have any recomendations?

Honeymoon help! Maui or Kauai?
My fiance and I will be going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We are having an extremely difficult time deciding between Maui or Kauai. We don't have the money to visit multiple islands so we must choose between the two. We like the idea of Kauai being secluded and extremely green but we also don't want to run out of things to do. We would really appreciate help from people who have actually been to the islands. Thanks!!
Recommend Maui or Kauai for a wedding/honeymoon?
We're planning a Sept/Oct wedding this year (just the two of us) and looking at either Maui or Kauai. I understand that both are beautiful, but that Kauai is more secluded (which we like), but we don't want to sacrifice options solely for that sake. Any opinions? Also on sides of each island to stay on for best chance of dry weather - thanks!

Kauai or Maui?? Which is better for a honeymoon?
I'm getting married next August, and we have decided to go to Hawaii on our honeymoon. We were planning on Maui, since I've already been to the Big Island and I live on Oahu. So we wanted to go somewhere different, not to overly populated. We thought Hawaii would be good, but my stepdad who lived in Hawaii for over 13 years is telling us he thinks that Kauai is the most beautiful and there won't be as many people there. I really don't have a prefernce, I just want it to be very romantic and very special and not Oahu, or the big island. What do you think and reccomend. Also any hotels/resorts, or activities you think we should do, we'd love to hear it! Thanks so much!!
