Which part of hawaii is nicer please?
Oahu or Maui I am going with boyfriend, he likes diving, I like the beach shopping going out etc, we not in honeymoon phase and he not romantic type, which place is nicer to visit.

Ok... We are getting married on August 29,2009 and neither of us have ever been on a cruise. We are looking for about 3-4 nights and the bahamas sound nice or the caribbean. The thing is we want an adult only cruise, I of course want something with romance and he wants to be able to gamble onboard. Where should we be looking and what are your thoughts of cruises? (I don't mind the gambling part!!-his honeymoon too!!)

I just asked this question in travel, but figured I would ask here to, so I could get more answers. I was just wondering what cruise lines people have takin and liked. There are so many and even looking at a specific cruise line there are a bunch of ships. So I don't know how to tell what is is better for me. So if you can tell me about your experience and why you would recommend it, I wuld greatly appreciate it.

i'm having a destination wedding in little bay, jamaica in march. i found the most wonderful place, and was emailing the owner of the resort several times a day just to make sure this was the right choice. as soon as i put my deposit down (about 6 weeks ago) the emailing stopped. i got a "timeline" of what needs to be done for the wedding as far as paperwork and such. but after that, nothing! i did a lot of research on this place and found nothing but great reviews. i emailed 3 times since then asking when i can start correspondance with the wedding planner, and haven't recieved an answer. all of my guests have put down their deposit as well, so they already have a good bit of money from us.
should i be worried? what should i do? any legal action i can take if i don't get a response soon?
i'm pretty sure it's non-refundable.
Does anyone know any good wedding planners for weddings in Turkey please?
My fiance and i are looking to get married in Turkey (i would ideally like icmeler or amos bay or kumlubuk as a location). I'm finding it hard to find a company that can help with these destinations as most places can only offer packages and are not flexible on location etc. Have any Brits been married in this area of Turkey and how did you go about it??? This summer my mom and I visited Maui, where I used to live as a little girl. I was reunited with my moms friend and her family. I haven't seen them in 14 years (I'm 19 years old now). I used to be playmates with her oldest son, (his mom even took pics of us dressed in wedding outfits when we were 5 as if we were getting married lol), and he's pretty cute. He was very quiet and shy and he didn't really talk to me the whole time we were visiting. We invited them back to our hotel later that night, and his brothers and my cousins ended up play wrestling in the pool. At first we was splashing me me playfully, until I started to splash him back. We ended up wrestling each other too, and he would sneak up behind me, grab me by the waist and throw me across the pool. Or he would just grab onto my waist so I couldn't move. He kicked my butt pretty much. After, we finally talked for about 20 min in the pool. Then they left. When I got back home, a few weeks later his mom texted me and gave me his number. I was kinda shocked and I asked if he was ok with me having his number and she said she asked him and he said yes. I was totally nervous and comfortable texting him first, but I did finally, and we talked for pretty much the whole day via text. And he responded in some ways that made me question what he was implying. First, we talked about school and I asked him about HS, if he went to prom and all that, and he said no. I told him about mine, and said I didn't have fun because everyone ended up drunk at the hotel and getting in the bathtub in their bras and boxers and I was about to do that. And I said "I wasn't going to let those guys see me in my underwear! That's only for my boyfriend to see." He answered, "Well whoever your bf is will be lucky to see that." I just answered, "Lol yeah, i guess". We got into sex-topics (sort of) cuz he asked "Whats the most you've done with a guy?" and I said "Nothing. I've never kissed, been touched or had sex yet". And he was like "Really? Nothing?!" and I said "No". And I asked him, and he was teasing saying "No I'm a good boy", and I was like "As good as I am?" and he finally said "No. I'm not a V." I asked if that was hard to admit to me and he said "Kind of." Then, we talked about bfs and gfs, I asked if he had one yet, and he's had a few. Longest relationship was 2 yrs. I said that I never had a bf, he didn't believe me and he said he was shocked, that it didn't seem I would have a problem with that kind of thing and he asked me why and I said because I haven't met a guy that I feel safe and comfortable with yet, and I take these things seriously, I don't like to mess around with boys. Plus I've never really been asked out. "That's the way it should be, and there's something wrong with those guys". And I said "Lol, why?" and he replied, "Well, it's not like you're ugly or anything..." LOL! I mean all this is self-explanitory but it's hard to tell if he's serious or not from text messages. We've only texted 3 other times, I feel really dumb being so far away and wanting to get to know him thru texting. But what do you think he thinks about me??? I just want outsider's opinions.

I’m planning a honeymoon in Maui and I need help, please?
My fiance and I will be spending our honeymoon in Maui from the end of September - the beginning of October. One of our wedding gifts is a week long stay at my aunt's time share (hono kao). We need to determine exactly how much to save for the honeymoon. We're planning on buying groceries and grilling at the time share most of the time, but we also want to go to restaurants, a luau, maybe golf, go to some shows, get hot stone massages, go jet skiing, go on a submarine, and other possible excursions. We have already priced the car rental. So my questions are:
How are the prices of groceries relative to the continental states (we live in Flagstaff, AZ)?
Does anyone have any specific price info on any of the above mentioned activities?
Are you aware pf any hidden fees associated with any of the above?
Are the car rental practices at all different than the continental US?
Do you have any specific recommendations of things/places not to miss while there?
Maui honeymoon in Sept where do we stay? PLEASE HELP!!!!!?
I am booking our Maui honeymoon but cant decide if it would be better to stay in a cottage close to Hana in a more secluded area or to stay in a place close to Lahaina and Kaanapli? What would you recommend? Would staying in the cottage close to Hana keep us from the main attractions and beaches of Maui??? Please HELP!!!!!!
