which hotel should we stay at in Maui?
We are going for our honeymoon in August 2009, and having done a bit of research cannot decide between the hyatt regency and the sheraton. The sheraton seems to have a better beach, but the hyatt seems to have better facilities. We also looked at Wailea, but Kaanapali seems more lively with more things to do.
Can anyone also tell me how long it takes to walk from the sheraton to the hyatt?
Also.. where can I get the best deals as the rates seems to be very expensive (I live in the UK by the way).

Where is the best place to stay on Maui?
My wife and i took our honeymoon in 1984.We stayed at the Hyatt Regency on Kaanapali beach. Our 25th anniversary is in June and i would like to surprise her with a trip back there. We haven't been back yet, and i know it has changed quite a bit.I have heard that the Wailea area is really nice, and was wondering if any of you fine folk's have been there and could give me any advice.Price is not a concern.Thank You.
May Honeymoon in Wailea, Maui – where to stay?
Can anyone who has stayed at these hotels within the past year give us some advice? We have it narrowed down to: The Four Seasons, The Fairmont Kea Lani, and the Grand Wailea.
We're not used to staying in luxury hotels, so we won't be too hard to please. We do, however, want to make sure that we spend the big bucks on a nice place. We especially don't want to walk into one of the other two hotels when we get there and think "man we should have stayed here". We'll be there the first week of May.
Here's what we're looking for: oceanfront rooms that are comfortable and clean, not too loud/crowded (don't know if that matters in the first week of May), friendly staff, chairs available at the pool/beach, and great fruity beverages! I'm sure all those seemed obvious, but I just wanted to reinforce.
Altogether, we just want a pleasant, semi-quiet honeymoon at a nicer hotel than we're used to.
Any help would be fantastic!
