What’s the best cruise line and location for a honeymoon?
I'd like to take a one to two week cruise for my honeymoon. I get sea sick easily, so calm seas are a plus!

I would say Royal Caribbean or Princess. Eastern or Southern Caribbean. If you want something really awesome you could go to Bora Bora and spend a few nights then do the cruise Fiji, Tahiti etc. Depends on what your budget is and what you are looking for.
There is never any guarantee to calm seas, but the stabilizers on the ships are really pretty good, but I would definitely get something from your doctor or a lot of people use the arm bands for sea sickness and say they work pretty good.
I don’t know when your wedding is, but Aug-Nov can sometimes be a little rougher because of hurricanes, but hurricane season is June – Nov. There are really a lot of different options. Really depends on your budget. Congratulations.
Added later. I am not an idiot. I said there are a lot of choices and it depends on what they are looking for and budget. Tahiti. Fiji is a smaller ship. They really need to talk to someone that can qualify them with questions to find out exactly what they are looking to get from their cruise experience and budget makes a big difference.

Do not listen to any idiot (sorry) who says princess, carnival, norwegian, or any cruise line that is that big and similar. The most romantic, adventurous, exotic, and laid back cruise you could take would be on a small cruise ship. I would check out windjammers barefoot maine cruises if you are still looking mainstream, but if you really want an experience, sign on a Felluca cruise (which are typically dirt cheap because they are small, authentic businesses run by gregarious, wine and food and life loving turkish men) in Turkey (which has a beautiful coastline by the way), or even in Egypt. The best way to find get good advice as to which company to sign on to is best answered on the lonely planet thorntree forum, as they generally know what they’re talking about.
apparently theres a whole website devoted to this: http://www.smallshipcruises.com/

The bigger the cruise line, the more activities and excitement! Princess, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, etc. all do a great job of making your honeymoon extravagant and a vacation to definitely remember. I would say the perfect place (for me at least) would be a honeymoon cruise to Hawaii!!!

Royal Caribbean for sure! I’ve been on 10 cruises with them, and don’t plan on going with any other line.

As for calm waters I would suggest a cruise or a cruise/tour to Alaska. You travel between 2 bodies of land so the water is very calm. I have sailed on 3 different lines there Holland, Norwegian & Princess & enjoy each. Plenty of Scenery, Wildlife Amazing Ports of of call.
Which ever line you choose some like them some don’t. Personal choice.
Princess is having a big sale now for all of their cruises. Try Princess.com or call 1-800-Princess.
Congrats.
Enjoy.

There are many choices, however I would agree that cursing with one of the larger brands (Carnival, Royal, etc) is the best bet for you. They will make sure to help you celebrate your honeymoon and the ships are incredible.
Also you mentioned you get sea sick. If that’s the case, you want to make sure you go on the Largest Ship you can find that goes to a destination you like. Smaller ships are easier to get sea sick on so… I would make sure to stay away from those.
Nice size ships to try would be: Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas (it’s huge and filled with things to do). Another nice one is Carnival Liberty.
Happy Honeymoon!

You can tell who doesn’t cruise that often. Windjammer went out of business in 2007. If you plan to go with a smaller cruise line make sure they’re reputable and that you have insurance in case they go under. Royal Caribbean is an excellent cruise line as is princess, norwegian and celebrity.

First thing to think of – if you get sea sick easy then you may want to get a Stateroom in the middle of the ship !
The middle of the ship does not seem to rock as much as the rest of the ship. if you start feeling bad then you have a place to go to and relax (Stateroom).
Like everyone is saying, there is no way to get a cruise that is 100% calm seas. We ended up with 38ft waves hitting us for 2 days on our cruise.
This is how I know about a stateroom in the middle of the ship, Glad I had that room !!!! LOL – Oh, We also where on the top end of the ship.
